I started my nursing career in 2013 as a Registered Nurse, working in specialty hospital settings including maternity, medical-surgical, and telemetry. In 2020, I obtained my Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and worked in primary care. This May, I’m graduating with a post-Master’s degree in Psychiatry as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

I’m Christina, and my approach to psychiatric care is warm but direct, nonjudgmental, practical, and human. I provide psychiatric assessment and medication management for adults dealing with ADHD, anxiety, and depression

One of my biggest frustrations is how mental illness is sometimes linked to weakness or danger. This stigma prevents people from seeking the help they deserve. Mental health challenges are not character flaws – they’re human experiences that deserve compassion, understanding, and proper support.

Mental health isn’t about either being “sick” or “well.” It’s about how well you understand, regulate, and relate to yourself and others. That’s something most of us are still learning, and that’s okay.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and cooking. My husband sends me recipes he finds on the internet, and we have a lot of fun making new meals together.

I’m a mother, a wife, and a daughter. I understand the importance of normal functioning in the modern world, which is often a blend of working, parenting, socializing, and how mental health challenges can disrupt all of that. My goal is to help you get back to living your life.
