Michelle is a Columbia-trained, ANCC board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with 25 years of clinical experience.
She he has served adults, children, and families with a wide range of needs in a variety of clinical settings in New York and Arizona. She has also worked extensively as an administrator, developing training programs for students and recent graduate NPs, as well as providing clinical supervision for NPs, social workers, and psychiatrists.
Michelle has extensive experience with children, teens, and adults of all ages. She has often worked with those with serious mental illness, substance use challenges, multiple medical challenges, PTSD and trauma as well as many other diagnoses, utilizing therapy as well as medication management. She’s a well rounded expert in all conditions including depression and anxiety disorders, ADHD and trauma and stress related problems.
Michelle treats children ages 5 and older and adults of all ages. Appointments can be in-person or remote.
Michelle is passionate about getting to know each client as a person first and understanding their world views and wishes. She sees each clinical relationship as a collaborative partnership, where clients can be truly heard and their needs addressed, and where suggestions for treatment will take into account each person as a whole.
